Since this was a huge selling point for Momma K to do the race, we loaded up the car with our race gear and crammed all five of us in the car (Momma K, Poppy K, Baby Chicken, Ms. Pappas and myself) and headed up to Calistoga and St. Helena to Sterling, V.Sattui and Inglenook for some wine tasting on Saturday before meeting up with the Team Challenge group
I actually have to give Momma K some credit because despite being surrounded by some of the best wine out there, she only tasted at one vineyard (but not without buying a case of wine to bring home with her) and for anyone that knows Momma K...that is a huge feat because she loves some good wine!

I think we all started to get a little punch drunk and were affected by the heat (it was over 100 degrees!) so we were all really goofy by the end of the day!
