1. Sunday shout out to you!

With the help of some random yo's at garage sales and bake sales, generous bosses, our family and our friends we have hit 50% of our fundraising goal.

We are officially at $2,948!

We didn't think this was possible and our goal seemed more pie in the sky than achievable but it is slowly becoming a reality...and that is all thanks to YOU! We appreciate you all more than we can ever tell you and are shocked at your overwhelming generosity and support. We love you all and are so blessed to have you all in our lives.

2. This one goes to Momma K and I. Neither of us are big fundraisers and the idea of fundraising was not pleasant..but when we found out we needed to raiser over $5,000 all by our lonesome it seemed impossible. Momma K was ready to fork out all $5,600 at the beginning to cover us so we wouldn't have to fundraise and had no faith whatsoever in our abilities. I figured we could get to $1,000 if we tried really hard...but guess what...

...and from running 50% of a marathon let me tell you, 50% isn't easy..and it's not half bad!
